When I was pregnant with Park, Chris and I must have taken about a zillion pictures of my pregnant belly. We marveled over the weekly changes and documented each and every little happening.
Fast forward 4 years and I am now 27 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and just getting around to taking a picture. Go figure.
After all these years, I finally understand why my baby book was simply a few paragraphs on the last page of Challi's monstrous scrap book. The second child is no less loved, but perhaps a bit less documented.
But the good news is, what subsequent children may lack in documentation, they more than gain in richness of relationships. To this day, my sister is still my very best friend. No other friend could ever understand me like she does or love me as unconditionally.
I pray daily that Park and his sibling will share that same bond and intense love for one another. And one day, when this precious little one examines his/her baby book, maybe sharing the back page of Park's will seem like as much as a gift as sharing Challi's does to me.

You look so cute!!!!!!!
Awww, look how cute you are!
I have 4 scrapbooks filled with my firstborn's pictures and my 2nd child doesn't even have one started yet. I can relate.
Hope your pregnancy is going well!
You're so tiny. I can't believe how much I miss you! ***CRY***
Have you checked out the cute pic on my blog. I mean it is the most precious baby evah ;)
You look great! And, I agree with above - you are tiny! Lucky duck
Bonnie :)
How do you stay so skinny?
This is a legitimate question that I would really like an answer to. Not kidding. :)
I'll be waiting...
Your so beautiful..so proud to be your mommy in law. Now about the documentation...imagine my angst when Jake came to me a few weeks ago asking for a baby picture for his eight grade awards ceremony. I procrastinated for days wondering these thoughts:
1) did I have any pictures
2) where in the world would they be
3) how would I explain the lack of pictures compared to the other children
To my surprise and shear joy...there were many! And we found the perfect one after we share a good long time of laughter and reflection.
Brittani- You look so cute!!! I haven't checked in with you in a while, but I am so glad you are doing well...your sweet "faith baby" will be here soon! As I rock mine at night, I think often about my blog friends that have walked this journey with me. I am so happy to share in God's blessings and can't wait to welcome your newest addition to the world!
